From Random Thoughts to Daily Questions

It all started with a simple, stupid, question. Can I remember what that question was? Absolutely not. But it did spark asking more questions.

I have a very active, nonstop flow of thoughts. Because of this, I often find myself questioning various areas of my life, wondering how people do certain things, or just being curious about things I have seen or heard.

When I started working at my current job, I had many questions about the job and as I became proficient those questions started to turn towards other aspects of life. Being the youngest in my section (by an average of about 20 years), I naturally turned to those older and wiser around me. As we became friends, my seemingly random, out-of-the-blue questions became a running joke—and eventually, a thing.

I left for a different job for four months, but when I returned, I brought a desk whiteboard with me. Since coming back in October 2024, I have made it a point to ask a question every day I am in the office. These range from "Would You Rather" scenarios to Hogwarts houses and New Year's resolutions.

As the new year brings on more questions, and with very few hobbies myself, my mentor suggested I start blogging them. So here we are. Please join me on this fantastic journey that is "Question of the Day".
